The problem

A luxury hospitality brand needed a digital presence that matched the feel of the properties themselves.

What I built

Built a Next.js site with GSAP and ScrollTrigger driving cinematic scroll sequences, image reveals, and transitions across room and property pages.

The hard part

Running heavy scroll-linked animation and large imagery together while keeping scrolling smooth on mobile.

Live hotel site with cinematic scroll storytelling that holds up across devices.

Built with

Next.js

Renders pages on the server, so content is in the HTML for crawlers and the first paint does not wait on JavaScript.

React

Component model for interfaces with state, so shared UI is written once and reused across pages.

GSAP

Animation engine that runs transforms off the main layout path, so motion holds its frame rate.

ScrollTrigger

Ties animation timelines to scroll position, with the start and end points set explicitly rather than guessed.
